Bit of a stretch to my usual environmental worries but, related to the current Middle East conflict, this piece on yesterday's Inside Health (starts at 8 mins in) explaining how the widespread distribution of heavy metal fragments from all the munitions being used can supercharge antimicrobial bacterial resistance. Truly scary stuff!
